5 weeks pregnant and anxious about miscarrying

Hi! So after a whole year of trying I’ve finally managed to get a positive test 😭 I’m so anxious about miscarrying as I have PCOS and endometriosis! I think I’m around 5-6 weeks pregnant; annoyingly I can’t remember the first day of my last period! This would also be my first pregnancy!

Does anyone have any positive stories to put my mind at ease? The symptoms I have is headaches, hunger, bigger boobs and bloating! Also mild cramping on my left for the last week or so…

I also don’t FEEL pregnant like this does not feel real! Can anyone else relate?

First of all, massive congratulations! this is incredible.
Secondly, feeling nervous and anxious is so valid and very normal! I am also very nervous about miscarrying and i've got 2 healthy children. I am having some pink bleeding which has worried me so i am keeping an eye on it. If you are about 6 weeks along, you can book a private scan for reassurance if you want to that is an option. Before 6 weeks they can't see much on a scan. Hope all goes well for you :)

Hooray for you! I also didn't feel pregnant until about 15-16 weeks. My first pregnancy I had quite a lot of bleeding too so was warned that miscarriage might happen (bleeding from 5 weeks all the way through pregnancy) but that baby is now almost 3! Just remember that if you're following all the guidance on what to eat, drink, not smoking etc. and trying to eat well then you're doing the best you can and anything that does or doesn't happen isn't your fault - we can only do our best with the bodies we have. I know it's worrying but there's every chance it could work out perfectly!
