Movements at 35 weeks

Hi,

I was just wondering if anyone else experienced the same. I'm nearly 35 weeks and have noticed the past couple of weeks babies movements are more rolls etc he does still kick me but his movements seem more like rolls/squirming around now.

Is this normal? My midwife isn't concerned and babies movements are still as frequent just seem to be more limbs sticking out and rolling around haha. Just curious if this is normal at this point, I'm a first time mam so this is all new to me ☺️

I think they're a bit more squashed in there at this point (I'm 35+2) so not as much room to stretch out and kick maybe! As long as you're still getting strong regular movements I wouldn't be worried

Yeah that's what my midwife said she said he will just have less room. He does still give me good kicks 😂 my placenta is at the front too so not sure if that maybe makes a difference!

I am 34 weeks. Still get kicks but more and more rolls. As long as it's a movement and the same frequency it should be fine. If at all bothered just give triage a ring. I have been up twice this pregnancy, the baby doesn't seem to like braxton hicks and goes really still which freaks me out. They have been lovely at triage.

Yeah I still get kicks/jabs however I have noticed more rolls/wriggling around now. Movements are still frequent though so im not concerned just more curious if people experience the same. My placenta is at the front too so I think that might impact what I feel maybe

Yes completely normal at this stage! I'm 36w and it's all rolls / stretching. She likes to sprag her legs out and I get a foot sticking out the side of my bump and her butt sticking up in the air the other side 🙈😂

That's what mine have been like! He moves his legs and I can see his little foot poking out on the side of my bump or like you say I can see his little butt sticking up on one side it's crazy haha! 😂

I'm 35+1 and also getting more indistinct movements now - more squirming/twisting/rolling than the big kicks and pokes I was getting a few weeks ago. I have an anterior placenta too, although not sure at this late stage how much difference it makes to feeling movement compared with earlier on.

Yes that's exactly what mine have been like! His movement is still as frequent it just feels more like rolls/wiggles and I can see his feet or butt sticking out 😂
