Hi everyone I'm currently ttc baby no.3 I'm due to test in a few days so hopefully get my bfp! My first two babies were girls, I had quite bad nausea and extreme tiredness in the first trimester, then it settled and had little to no symptoms until 3rd trimester (aching bones, heartburn etc) I was wondering if I've had 2 pregnancies like this would my 3rd be the same?

The reason I'm asking is because I have a severe phobia of being sick and I'm really hoping that since I've experienced 2 pregnancies without vomiting then more than likely my 3rd will be the same. Can anyone tell me about their experiences please?

I'm currently pregnant with my 3rd, and my experience has been that the symptoms I had have been the same, but more extreme each time. So the first I had an aversion to meat and some other foods, the second I had an aversion to more foods, the 3rd I could barely even look at food, felt sick a lot, and lost 19lbs in my first trimester. I was never actually sick in any of my pregnancies, though.

I had two girls and awful nausea (also have a phobia of sick--which I managed to overcome due to the exposure in pregnancy 1!). Third baby was totally different. Zero morning sickness. In fact I was so worried that I had 3 early scans! It was boy, not sure if that had anything to do with it!

Thankyou both for replying! Well that's what I was thinking if I was to have a boy would symptoms be better because most people I've come across carry boys easier than girls. I am so excited to be trying again but this phobia just takes some excitement out of due to the extreme panic and worry! X

First pregnancy:
Very sore boobs
Severe nausea
Vomiting 4 times per day weeks 6-18
After that, felt fine until the end
Boy

Second pregnancy:
Very tired
Severe nausea
Vomiting 8+ times per day weeks 5-22
Bad heartburn near the end
Loads of Braxton Hicks
Girl

Third pregnancy - only 10 weeks in so far:
Totally exhausted
Less severe nausea
I’ve only vomited five or six times - woo!
Have been taking Xonvea since week 5 though…

So, basically, they have all been a bit different. Very fortunately the sickness is either not as bad this time, or the medication is being more effective, or both!

My first girl very bad nausea weeks 6-12. No vomiting.
Second boy nausea weeks 7-13 not as severe
Third boy severe nausea and food aversions weeks 8-12 no vomiting.

I think if you've not actually vomited in other pregnancies you'll likely be ok.
