8 week scan

Hi everyone

I went for a private 8 week scan today- it was very rushed and chaotic but it was amazing to see the baby for the first time and see the heartbeat.

Can someone explain what I am looking at? the sonographer was poor to be honest. I think I can see a head, arm and legs. They estimated me to be around 8 weeks - I think I am approx 8weeks 4 days.

Hi OP, I've been for an 8 week scan today too and measuring 8w2d.
This was my pic - I've outlined in red which bit is baby. My sonographer said the thing at the bottom is the yolk sac then the crl line shows top to bottom of the baby. In my case they are head down so upside down.
The head at this stage takes up a good 50% of what you see, I don't think there are any limbs or anything
