If it feels like little fishes moving around - that's your baby.

I felt mine move at about nine weeks this time round.

No way, it's wind. Sorry, but it's just FAR too small at that stage for you to feel movement through your uterus and belly. Ok I won't say it's impossible, but it's VERY unlikely. Remember at this point your uterus is right down inside your pelvis, not in your belly.

I always thought mine felt like popcorn popping at the early stages. Didnt know what it was at the time but worked it out later that it was baby having a wiggle.

Shelli - it could be wind, you do seem to get more of that in early pregnancy or it could be your baby moving. You probably won't know for certain until your baby is definitely moving, then you will be able to differentiate between wind and baby.

It is very early to be able to feel your little one, and if it is the baby, you need to be aware that depending on the position of it, you will only be able to feel it sometimes and sometimes it will be too deep inside you for you to feel anything.

So don't worry if the movements stop is what I think I'm trying to say.

Congratulations on your pregnancy.

I definitely felt my baby move at around the 9wk mark - I know what wind feels like and this was different!

Exciting isn't it!

Is this your first Shelli?
