Is there a point to do a HCG beta blood test at 5 weeks and 2 days?

I was away for the whole week 4 and now I am 5 weeks and 2 days. I have found out that it takes more days for HCG to be doubled from week 5. I want to make sure everything is fine before my week 8 scan. So, does it make sense to do a hcg beta test now then do another one after 4 days?

Why are you monitoring?

I had a CP this May. So, that makes me want to check if this one is fine. At the moment, the likelihood of having a CP is almost 0. Also having to wait for 3 more weeks feels like a long time until week 8 scan. Doing hcg beta blood tests will help me to find out if something is wrong with this one before the first scan. Please correct me if I am wrong. I don't really know.

Hi, In my case.. Doc asked me to do beta hcg at 5weeks 2 days when I saw my UPT was positive. The level was 369 and I repeated the test 4 days later at 5week 6 days and level was 1474. It doubled in every 48 hours. Currently, doc advised me to go for tvs ultrasound after wait for 10 days.
