Ectopic pregnancy

I was diagnosed with an ectopic on Friday HGC was 540. A small ‘mass’ seen in right tube, went back for a second blood test today just under 48 hours after first test and HGC was 1054..the doctor has said they can’t rule out a live pregnancy elsewhere as the levels have risen rapidly, also suggested there could be a uterine pregnancy as well as an ectopic at same time. This was totally blindsided me as I was only just processing the ectopic and now I’m in limbo again for 4 days until rescan. Has anybody got any experience of this?
also coil is still in place and where it should be on scan so chances of ectopic are higher than usual. No bleeding as of yet, some mild period pain and feeling bloated.

Hi,

I’m going through this at the moment. I had heavy bleeding on the 8th November and a bit of bleeding last week. Been to EPU as would be around 6 weeks now and HCG is 2452. Scanned me and nothing found in womb but something in left tube near ovary. She said it didn’t look like a sac but couldn’t rule out ectopic. Going back for bloods tomorrow to see if Hcg has risen/lowered/stayed same.

how are you getting on now what was the outcome in the end?

I’m going through the same; how did you get on? X

Hi, unfortunately a few days later I went for another scan, despite my levels rising every 48 hours as normal, I had internal bleeding and had started to rupture, lost my left fallopian tube. Wishing you best of luck for a positive outcome.

thank you, I was on the FB group initially but found it quite triggering after a while. So unfollowed the group. It definitely helped in the healing process time though x
