Hi, I'll be going to Morocco when I'm 20 weeks and trying to look at the right travel insurance, whenever I've looked at insurances it says I don't need to declare my pregnancy unless I've had complications?

Can anyone recommend a company to go with please x

I went to Vegas at 20 weeks pregnant with my first rang my insurance and they said it didn't matter unless complications or I was over 34 ( I think) weeks. Just call whoever you book your insurance with before you buy?

We’ve got an annual policy with our bank, I checked with them and they said I was covered as long as not travelling against medical advice, that policy is with Aviva. Be very careful with drinking water in Morocco!

Been abroad at 28w and 33w and both said you don't need to declare it, so I just carried my maternity notes & a letter from GP confirming dates for low risk pregnancy with me everywhere.

However, someone at work was telling me that if you ended up having the baby abroad, the baby's care might not be covered by insurance? Very unlikely of course & no idea whether that's true, but worth a phone call to insurer I'd think x
