Early Pregnancy nasal and ear congestion

Just found out I'm pregnant so only a few weeks now, just wondering is nasal congestion and feeling of blocked ears common at this stage of pregnancy, just can't shift it, don't really want to be taking tablets for it

It seemingly is common. I had it too, something to do with blood vessels in the nose swelling or expanding, or could also be because of change in hormones. It's so annoying but it does go!

Unfortunately I had pregnancy rhinitis through both my pregnancies. It's rubbish. I used Olbas and lavender oils on a tissue on my pillow every night which helped.

It's mostly affecting my ears, was this case for you

I’ve had a blocked nose throughout.! I’ve been using a drug free saline nasal spray which has helped a bit
