I'm a bit worried as I've taken a clear blue digital test and it's come up saying 3+ already. Should I be concerned? My period is only 5 days late and I definitely conceived exactly 3 weeks ago. Thanks in advance

What are you concerned about?

Congratulations 🙂

Following as I conceived 12 days ago and I've got 2-3 on clear blue already...but I'm also cramping and spotting brown blood 😞

I'm worried that it's showing too early? I had a missed miscarriage at 12 weeks last time so I guess im worried about an ectopic pregnancy or molar pregnancy. Just anything going wrong!

@Anonaust I'm so sorry to hear this. Is this your first pregnancy? Have you contact the epu? You might be able to get a scan.

No I've had 4 healthy babies, and my mmc last year. I have been through epu before so I may give them a ring tomorrow it's just so early they probably won't help yet x

It is horrendous yes fingers crossed you get your rainbow x

@rainbowbaby2 I wouldn't be concerned at all! It just means to have really strong hcg so either yours is rising fast, you implanted really early or you're having multiples. I would be more concerned about low levels of hcg. Congratulations x

allgoodthings84 · 19/08/2024 17:11

You add on 2 extra weeks as these date from conception so if you conceived 3 weeks ago (when the egg is fertilised) then 3+ is normal as you’ve hit 3 weeks since conception?

Yes this was my first thoughts. I think you should be worried if it's low levels. With it being 3+ weeks, possibly it's high levels with twins?? Fingers crossed for you 🩵🩷🎊

As above. I had this. I had a strong positive 8 days before my period. Showed 3 plus from very early. History of ectopic and mc.

All was absolutely fine. Baby is currently tearing up my living room.

allgoodthings84 · 19/08/2024 17:19

I got 3+ at 20dpo (first weeks test I took so not sure if it would have said that even earlier) and baby is 1 this week with no issues and was only a singleton. Those tests aren’t that reliable either some people get a 3+ early some never get a 3+. Don’t pay too much attention to it.

Just thought I'd update as I've forgotten about this thread. All is fine I'm currently 10 weeks.
Had two scans already as I had some bleeding. Was shocked to see baby wriggling around so early!
Waiting for my 12 week scan now and just praying all is still ok. Symptoms are definitely there still but not always as strong.
