Hi,

I'm nearly 34 weeks and was told at my midwife appointment on Monday that my baby has turned head down however he isn't engaged yet.

I was just wondering if anyone else experienced the urge to pee more once baby has gone head down? I feel like he using my bladder as a pillow 😂 and sometimes when he moves i feel like im going to pee myself haha!

Ah yes, the joys. Don't think my bladder has ever recovered.

I'm shocked how different it is! I've not had the urge to pee more my whole pregnancy and now he's gone head down I feel like I'm up and down like a yo yo to the toilet. Then when he moves a certain way I feel like I'm going to pee myself 😫😂

Oh God yeah. By the end of pregnancy I woke up on the hour to pee. Got better sleep with a newborn!

Well yes, obviously a growing head resting on your organs and lower in your pelvis squeezes the space everything else around it has, your bladder has less space/capacity.

Yes this has happened to me! The only saving grace is the baby seems to be moving in and out. Sometimes it feels like I almost have a UTI the need to pee is so high (urine dip negative) and then it goes away. I’ve had this sensation since 33 weeks - currently 36. Currently comfortable but it can change at any time!
