I'm 24 weeks. I was woken in the night by a pain which has still not gone away. It is all along the side of my bump (right hand side) where it is the sort of pulled muscle pain. Then it is also painful in my pelvis, where it is a sort of "scooping out your pelvis with a teaspoon" kind of pain, and it is painful round the top of my thigh, like someone has tied something round it. And I have a constant stitch. Also from time to time I have period type back pains. It is all on my right hand side. Lots of people are laughing at me cos I'm waddling, but I'm finding getting around difficult. It doesn't feel dangerous - it's definitely not labour or anything like that - it just bloody hurts. Paracetomal are having a limited effect.

Any ideas?

try the getting on all fours for 15 mins to see if that shifts baby and if the pain shifts with it? sounds like its all shifting and stretching, and lockets has good advice, but you may also have trapped a nerve hence the thigh? I dunno not a midwife or owt, just trying to help!

I was hoping you might have a positive experience of Kingston, that's all - I went there when I was 14 weeks and bleeding heavily and had a terrible terrible time, so I'm not sure about going back. I might try my GP, though. Thanks for the reassurance.
