I'm sorry to hear about your situation. Having had two miscarriages (one at 7.5 weeks and one at 6 weeks) I can really sympathise with you.
After my first miscarriage, I was back to normal fairly fast, and got pregnant again within three weeks. It was amazingly fast, but unfortunately I lost that pregnancy too (that was the second m/c). TBH that was just awful both physically and emotionally and looking back I wish I had given myself a proper break to try and get over the first one. My body was in a right state; I was miscarrying, though my body was producing milk (probably because it didn't know whether I had given birth or what was happening!)
After that episode I bled very lightly for almost three months. I went to the doctors and had tests done, but there was nothing wrong. Despite the fact there is no medical reason you shouldn't try from the outset, I really wouldn't advise trying again for a couple of months; just to give your system a proper rest. Also when your cycle is back in sync, you'll have an easier time planning.
Good news is that once the bleeding stopped I got pregnant again within a few weeks and I'm now 35 weeks pregnant.
I know it's difficult not to go for it again as soon as possible, but you will be doing yourself a favour if you get yourself straight first. Also, I had scans too so think you should request one to check there is nothing wrong. My scans showed up a five cm cyst, which wasn't nice, but it went away on its own.
good luck xx sorry this is long
