Private healthcare - miscarriage management does anyone cover it?

Hi all

I want to get private healthcare cover for my family.
Recently I suffered a missed miscarriage that went on for quite some time and I felt the treatment given in this scenario was poor. This has made me think if I had private heathcare at the time, could I have had surgical or medical management privately? Does anyone know of a provider that offers such cover? On researching this, it looks like almost none of them offer pregnancy-related cover.

Thanks

We have private cover with Axa Health and I know that they don't cover pregnancy or pregnancy related issues, I think that's something you would have to pay for if/when it was needed.

This is from an Axa policy…

I looked into private health care recently for exactly the same reason as you, but couldn't find anything to cover pregnancy. I guess it's too expensive for them!

I had surgical management on a private healthcare policy in 2020 - that was through AXA.

Mine was also through Axa and did surgical management as posted by PP above. This was about 9 years ago now.
It didn’t cover the pregnancy itself

Same for my policy - it didn't cover pregnancy, but did cover miscarriage surgery.
