Has anyone used these eBay one step tests before and seen no line progression?
the first test was (I think) 10dpo, I took the FRER the same day.
Please reply positive or negative responses - I just want to hear real replies to stop overthinking!

I'd just stop testing, you'll drive yourself mad. I know how it feels, to want to keep checking. But in reality, how strong the lines this early on won't really tell you anything and will just make you stressed and anxious.

I’ve only ever taken 4 pregnancy tests and I’ve got 3 children. Have you even missed a period yet? Take it for what it is and relax :) or get a digital one if you don’t trust these ones! ❤️ meant with love! Enjoy! Chill!

I don’t know when my period would be due as I’ve only had one period since having my son 15months ago 🙁

I just wanted to share an updated picture in case anyone else is testing with these plain blue handled tests - they progress really slowly and the lines are fuzzy and hard to read.

The second image was from my pregnancy with DS in 2022 with the previous one step tests which were so much better and clearer! If you want to purchase these tests, I’d recommend buying the version with hcg written on the handle.

Line progression does not indicate pregnancy progress. Most women who have a MC, including myself, have positive tests for up to weeks afterwards. Stop testing, you're pregnant today, you can't control what happens tomorrow.

agoldcup · 21/08/2024 12:05

As ever with these threads - remember you are to compare lines that are 48 hours apart - not 24 hours! Smile

Of course, the line progression does not indicate the pregnancy is viable to full term but as someone who has experienced ectopic pregnancies and 1 successful pregnancy - there are signs for me to look out for which differentiate them and line progression does help me with that.

@SH19 I have had 3 missed miscarriages and all of them had strong line progression. It really doesn't mean anything I'm afraid. It's best to step away from the tests as it'll only stress you out more x

they progress really slowly and the lines are fuzzy and hard to read.

So why bother using them?

Good luck with it all.

Glad to find your post @SH19! I’m testing vigilantly as the fertility doc has flagged I could have an ectopic and I’m hoping, until I can get repeat bloods started, that this will reassure me. It’s exactly like you said, it can be a useful tool to eliminate certain worries.

I have the one steps like you, the line is progressing a little but I wish it was a bit more obvious. It's helpful to see your example so thanks.
