Hi all,
Just looking for some support really. I find myself pregnant again after a miscarriage in May.
I've been cramping on and off pretty much since I found out but past couple of days it's been horrendous. Almost like severe trapped wind or constipation pain, I was on my knees retching with the pain this morning. Went early pregnancy where they found a little bub with a lovely heartbeat but also a 4cm haematoma or blood clot. I've not bled or had any bleeding but the stomach cramps are so painful still, midwife says it's my uterus going into overdrive expanding etc but now knowing this blood clot is there is just making me so anxious waiting to start bleeding not knowing if it's going to take the baby with it or not. I've to go back for another scan in 2 weeks if nothing more sinister happens in the interim.
The stress especially after a miscarriage is just getting to me.
Has anyone experienced something similar with a good outcome? Xx

Hello, I'm currently 6 weeks 5 days pregnant after a missed miscarriage in March.
When you had your scan did they check your cervix and was it closed?
I started to bleed on Saturday after a internal scan on Friday where a lovely little heartbeat was seen.
I went to hospital straight away, had all my bloods checked, a internal examination where they found my cervix was still closed which was a good sign. I know you haven't had any bleeding yet but that must be so hard just waiting for it to come. Have you been offered progesterone hormone? I am now on that until I reach 16 weeks because of my previous missed miscarriage.
I went back for a follow up appointment and another scan today and babies heart beat was still there and all looking good even after a bad bleed xx

Hi lovely
Thanks for taking the time to reply- so glad to hear everything was ok for you!

No cervical examination I only had an internal scan where they saw the bit clot. So I've to go back in 2 weeks to get rescanned. I might bleed and baby will be ok, I might bleed and it takes the baby with it ☹️ or I could not bleed at all and it shrinks and disappears.

Tbh it's the agonising stomach aches I'm struggling with right now. They gave me painkillers but doesn't really feel like they're touching the sides... it feels like trapped wind/constipation pain so taking fibogel capsules as well just incase.
If I can't settle with the pain then I'll just have to go back to Early pregnancy tomorrow. They didn't check my urine and I completely forgot to ask so if I go back then I'll get them to check for a UTI.

sigh I'm so anxious. Doesn't help we're trying to get our house on the market and have a very boisterous 2 year old 🙈 xx
