Exhausted 32+5

Hi,

I'm 32+5 and I'm beyond exhausted. I'm struggling to sleep on a night due to not being comfortable also suffering with bad heartburn which knocks me sick. I've found myself getting increasingly more tired as I've hit 30 weeks onwards and I just generally feel like my body has slowed right down.

I'm quite miserable and fed up now, does the tiredness get worse as weeks go by or did you find you got abit of energy/nesting at some stage in the 3rd trimester? Any tips for keeping on top of household chores etc whilst feeling so exhausted. I'm aware I probably just sound like a drama queen but the tiredness in the 3rd trimester is something else 😫😴

I’m 33 weeks and find I can do things in short bursts. If you have a partner they obviously need to be doing most household stuff! Have you had iron checked? Mine was low and my energy has got better since I started supplements

I’m 27wks and utterly exhausted already… I have 3 kids already so this is my 4th and I have no idea how I’m making it till the end!!! I hate to say it but for me yes it did get worse towards the end, by the end of my last pregnancy I could hardly even walk up the stairs… It’s just a case of doing as little as you possibly can & taking any shortcuts ie. Deliveries instead of shops. I say this yet I never sit down 🤣 I have a crazy toddler which doesn’t help matters either!!! When are you both due? Xx

I've had my iron etc checked all normal. He does help when he can as he works alot Monday - Saturday. But when he's home he does help I just feel useless and exhausted I'm usually a very organised person in terms of keeping on top of my housework etc I think I just need to realise my body is slowing down abit now ☺️

Hats off to you haha! This is my first baby and I'm exhausted 😂 I've started the online shops even though I don't live far from the supermarket I just don't have the energy to walk round and do a full shop haha, I'm due 2nd October! Kinda hoping he comes abit early but think that's wishful thinking 😂 when are you due? Xx

I mean, he's not helping, he's doing his fair share! I'm having my first, assume you are to, and I just don't find there's much housework to do? We do a full clean together at the weekend, takes an hour, and then a couple of loads of laundry. Not sure what else there is to do apart from usual daily food prep and dishwasher. Maybe an opportunity to review your standards, as prep for when the baby is here and you have even less time!

Oh yes enjoy this level whilst it lasts 🤣 newborn stage is fine too but once they are weaning & on the move… it’s game over 🤣🤣🤣 I don’t think I’ll ever catch up on my housework or washing for at least 18 years!!!

It’s funny because although I am shattered, I’m so distracted most of the time to even focus on it & because I need to take kids out here & there, do kids clubs, it forces me to go out then that almost gives me a bit of energy to keep going!! Yeah first is so unknown as to when they’ll come… quite exciting that you could have either a Sept or Oct baby!! I’m due Nov 10th but because it’ll be a csection, I won’t go by 39wks which I am happy with tbh!! Xx
