Hi, just looking for some advice as I’m in limbo here. I am 30 weeks today with my 3rd baby. No history of premature birth but I did have false labour at 33 weeks with my second.
This past week I’ve had really painful and frequent braxton hicks, round the front and low in my back. Yesterday I had a pant liner on and it was half full with a yellow liquid (not wee.) I went into maternity triage and they checked me over and said my cervix was closed and not dilating which is good, but when they did the swab test for amniotic fluid they said it was negative (a bit like a pregnancy test, 1 line for neg 2 lines for pos) but I could see a very faint second line. I have passed more of this fluid since being sent home last night and then today my pants are really damp.
has anyone got any advice or had any similar experiences? The dr didn’t say ‘oh it’s just discharge’ so I’m just a bit in limbo I don’t know what’s going on. I’ve continued to have painful and regular braxon hicks all night and they’re still happening today but they aren’t gaining in strength so I just don’t know what’s going on.
I have attached a picture of my pant liner that made me go into the triage. I do have white discharge daily but nothing like this - I had the liner on literally for 2/3 hours and the amount was quite a lot.
