Hi everyone,
Just wondering if I could ask for people's advice and reassurance;

My cycles have always been longer, around 32-36 days. There is usually around 5 weeks between each of my periods so I ovulate later.

I had a 7 day period on 16/06/24 lasting 7 days.

17 days later on 03/07/24, I had a 4 day bleed which was entirely brown blood, this was not implantation as didnt 'do the deed' until 09/07/24.

I found out I was pregnant on 22/07/2024

I had a 1-2 weeks on Clearblue on the 22/07/2024

2-3 weeks on Clearblue on the 27/07/2024

and 3+ weeks on Clearblue on the 03/08/2024.
(I am aware that as per Clearblue instructions, we add 2 weeks to these as only show date of conception).

I know there is no way of saying if my pregnancy is dated from the 16/06/24 or 03/08/24 until I have my dating scan, however just wondering if anyone would know which one is most likely?

Also to mention, I have always had brown bleeding a few days before my period, but never so soon after - this is very out of the ordinary for me - I am unsure if it was too heavy to be ovulation??

Have a great evening everyone and thank you for reading xx

I think the 3/7/24 is more likely. If you only did the deed on 9/7/24 the conception could have happened on that day or even up to five days later and this is the time when baby start to develop from the egg so it will give you more accurate figure. Although because of the possible early ovulation you might be classed a few days back at scan. Congratulations and enjoy the pregnancy :)

I don't know about the different bleeding but I do also have long cycles (mine are 40 days plus) so I know I ovulate later as well.
Working out from the first day of last period is based on a standard 28 day cycle with ovulation in the middle, it's not accurate for a lot of people.
From my last period date, I would be 8+ weeks but I'm actually 2 weeks behind this.

If the only date you could have conceived was the 9th July then that's where is start the calculations, add 2 weeks onto that so you're about 6 and a half weeks? Which would fit in just right with the clear blue tests
