Ttc baby number 2 (after DH finally said yes!) DD1 is 8 & i got pregnant first cycle!

i’m now 33, so thought I should get to know my cycle more & bought ovulation strips.

can anyone look at these & let me know if that’s wrong saying “low” .. i have change in CM (clear & runny) & that line looks pretty dark?

Mine lines only ever got that dark, I never got a 'peak' reading. Most important is regular sex as soon as strips are getting darker, don't wait for the peak.

Ideally the test line should be darker than the control line. This was mine the cycle I conceived. That last one your peak could've happened in the morning. The best time to test is with your second wee of the day and ideally after not drinking too much.

I too never got a peak on those strips, even though I do ovulate. I bought a re-usable saliva OPK, but not many in the UK have heard of them. I could actually read it clearly and used it for years.

If I'd have trusted these I would never have gotten pregnant. They're more trouble than they're worth.

MrsRandallFraser · 09/08/2024 16:15

Sorry OP I just looked at your tests again and realised you did test in the morning!

Yeah I never get test line darker than control but I still ovulate I wouldn't rely too much on the darkness or the app picking it up either

Thanks everyone, decided to listen to my body more than the strips!
