Back pain and rib pain.. legs hips and calves and feet

Hey

My pains and aches got worse in the second trimester too - I was told this is because the body is changing to accommodate the uterus and baby.

I'd maybe book a massage. Try and rest up where you can, buy a wheat bag so you use that for some heat where you are sore. Take naps. Lie down. Drink plenty of water.

You can get girdle belts to support your growing bump.

Buy some padded flip flops to save your feet.

Restless legs syndrome might be what you have re your skin - have a look online to see what works for people!

It does get better, but you'll have ups and downs throughout pregnancy!

A warm bath helped with the aching and paracetamol is safe during pregnancy if you're really struggling.

I wanted to rip my skin off in my second pregnancy due to the itching, moisturising the skin helps in my experience however If the itching gets worse or continues, mention it to your midwife/doctor as it can sometimes be a sign of a liver condition which can be harmful for baby as well as you.

How's your blood pressure because mine was high in pregnancy and made me want to rip my skin off with the itching

Thanks guys.
my bp is generally low and measuring OK.

is it normal to feel like this after already having a baby? This is my 4th pregnancy but 2nd successful… so I’m just like… my body should be used to this!! But it’s way worse than last time 😭

also, I’m dreading the third trimester 😅😅

are you doing exercise? Swimming and yoga help my aches so much, and walking. You could try magnesium supplements or spray as well.

@Peonies12 i walk a fair bit,, and run around after toddler! But you’re right I need to get some exercise in!!
