My daughter's nursery has had a confirmed case of slapped cheek, but I also have a 3 week old at home. I can't find anything online about the dangers with a newborn catching it only when pregnant. I know that the child who has it confirmed in nursery is likely now not contagious, but others may have it. Should I keep my DD off or carry on sending her in, is it dangerous for a newborn to potentially catch it or will it present as it does for older kids (mild cold for the most part)?
