Hello,
I have what I believe to be petechiae on the back of my knee. Tiny red spots that do not disappear under a glass. They are not raised, itchy and I only know about them because I spotted them. I don't believe it in menigitus.
I do feel unwell but I have horrendous morning sickness. I only had blood tests 6 days ago and everything was nnormal. I am 12 weeks pregnant.
I am a terrible hypochondriac and I lost a baby in the third trimester so my fear of 'missing something' is huge. I called 111 and they said go to a walk-in but have no desire to spend 4 hours waiting to see someone. The last time I went to a walk-in they prescribed medication I was allergic too (I told them I was allergic) and was unnecessary. I am hopefully going to get a call from a doctor soon. But think I am going to get a doctors appointment tomorrow.
I just wanted some reassurence that this isn't something to lose my head over and that waiting one night for an appointment is something most people would do.
