Bleeding after sex...4 months pp

Hi,

I'm 4 months pp with my 4th child and I'm finding that after dtd I go to the toilet and there's pink blood when I wipe just wondering if anyone else has experiences this? Is it normal? It's never happened after my other children they were all vaginal births but this one was c section does that make a difference? Also having 10 day periods and always have pain in my cervix area most of the time mild but will have it everyday. Should I be concerned or is it my body just still recovering?

It’s not normal, but don’t panic, it’s probably cervical erosion or something similar. You need to get it checked out.

Yes, as pp says, do get it checked out. Probably nothing but best to set your mind at rest.

Thanks for your advice I've been leaving it as I thought it was just down to a longer recovery from c section so I'll go get it checked out x

Are you up to date with your smear tests?

I am yes my last one was around 2.5 years ago the nurse said she saw what looks like rough abrasions on my cervix but when passed to GP they weren't worried so was left at that

How did it all go @Kellyaust ?

It hasn't happened again so far so I'm just waiting to see if it happens near my AF coz it could be that thanks for checking though 🙂
