Stretchy maternity clothes?

Hi, I’m 14 weeks pregnant with my first and only just starting to show. I have a “pear” body shape and struggle to find trousers that fit anyway because I have such wide hips. I’m struggling to find maternity clothes that aren’t just dresses. I’m going to be big during the winter and would love any recommendations for stretchier clothes/tops/trousers.
I’m also a teacher and am panicking a little bit about having professional looking clothes that fit!
I’m a size 14 for tops and a size 18 for trousers. Currently living in leggings and cycle shorts during the summer break.
Any help or advice appreciated! Xx

I'm 19 weeks and a size 14 too, am looking for recommendations on trousers too, I have dresses but some days I want to wear a light trouser! So piggy backing a bit

I have some seraphine jeans from Vinted they're really comfortable and I also got a pair of maternity dungarees

I'm very pear shaped. Currently wearing the Frugi maternity leggings which fit very well.
Maybe wear dresses with tights a size bigger in winter? Or leggings are fine when pregnant I reckon!

I'm having this same dilemma. I'm most definitely pear shaped and 13 weeks. I also need to be smart at work and am finding things that are office smart, comfy and warm is a nightmare. I've given up and will go for stretchy midi dresses with tights for work. Personal life...I'm just going to have to live in leggings and big jumpers come the winter I think! There's loads of second hand stuff on vinted, I've already got some dresses ready for when it turns cold x

Lucy and Yak (brand) Alexa (style) trousers have wide elastic waistbands and are very comfy on a pregnant tummy - they have other styles with elastic waistbands too. Lots of their stuff has colourful prints but they do plain colours as well

I bought some Seraphine stretchy jeggings a few weeks ago and they are amazing, so comfy. I'm a 12 so bought the normal fit but I think they do them in their 'curve' range as well which would potentially be a better fit for your figure. Once the weather cools down I am expecting to live in them into the autumn when my baby is due!

I basically lived in these dresses over maternity leggings so they looked like a long tunic. They do them in a long sleeve version for over the winter months and they turn into bf friendly dresses for post partum.

I also had a couple of really comfy jersey dresses that i wore over leggings from New Look, again to give that tunic type look. I cant see that they are in stock at the minute, but they were an empire shape so really flattering over leggings. I put them with a suit jacket to smarten up the leggings.

Maternity & Nursing Short Sleeve Dress - Emerald Green

Comfy, flattering & SO versatile, you’ll love Seraphine’s Emerald Green Maternity & Nursing Dress well beyond nine months.

H&M maternity range had some ribbed black, wide legged trousers (they were in a two piece with a black top in same fabric) very soft, very stretchy. Think it was called Mama 2 piece ribbed set.
I am a teacher too and I wore them throughout my pregnancy and home after my C-section. So comfortable even in third trimester. Also not a sweaty polyester material!
