Anyone else going through an induction?

I am 39 weeks and wondered if anyone else was being induced so we can share our experience?

I had the pessary at 5pm. Not much change so far, minor period like cramps.

No but probably will be, currently 40+4.
I was induced my last pregnancy also and had to have the pessary twice.

I had an induction with DS and they used the pessary, then later I got the drip. He was born about 28 hours later. I was 40+13 at that point.
With DD, they started the induction at 39+4. I got the gel first, which only gave me some light contractions. They then changed to tablets, which did nothing. After four days, they finally agreed to break my waters (they were worried about infection and a subsequent need for a c-section but I said that if it takes any longer, I'll want a c-section anyway). Within half an hour I had back to back contractions. It was much better after the epidural. DD was born 6 hours after the waters were broken.
