I've had the CVS Test!

I had my 13 week anomaly scan today after being told the fluid behind babys neck is abnormal, the specialist said everything looked fine with baby but to have the CVS test if I wished.

I had the CVS today after my scan. It took 5-10 minutes, it didn’t hurt, it was just an uncomfortable feeling. Now we wait 2-3 days for our results🙏🏻

I hope you got good news back from your results! I’ve got a CVS procedure booked and so nervous about it - I’m glad to read that it didn’t hurt but I’ve got a really low pain tolerance and I think my anxiety is making the whole process worse for me… did you do anything to prep? Did you take any OTC meds?
