Hi ladies - my fundal high measurement has consistently been measuring several weeks ahead of where I should be. I’ve had a growth scan but baby showing bang on average !

I’ve now got to go for a gestational diabetes test but I was always under the impression baby measured big if you had it.

Has anyone else been in this situation? My arms and legs have stayed normal size & I’ve been pretty healthy throughout so not sure why my bump is so big!

I did with my second. She was born 7lb 10 at 40w. My midwife was expecting a 10lb baby given my measurements. Growth scan said normal.

My fundal height measured big for all 3 pregnancies. Actual babies were small, less than 10th centile for all. I always had a lot of waters.

I always measured one week ahead, and everyone always told me I was huge! Gave birth at 38 + 6 to a small baby, just under 3kgs. No idea why, it must be how you carry. I didn't have gestational diabetes either

You might have more amniotic fluid than usual, which gives a larger bump.

I would just go for all the tests and scans they want and let the doctors figure it out.
