Ok - sorry about this post as its a bit personal but I don't really have anyone else to ask, apart from my husband who finds it highly amusing!

Anyway, for about a week now my nipples have been ultra sensitive and practically rock hard all the time. I can actually feel them as well - especially if its cold, but even when I am wearing a jacket I can feel them, its almost like they are getting cold wind blown on them.

Its really annoying too as I am having to wear my bra plus 2 layers just to hide them.

I was wondering if anyone else had experienced this? Also, do you know if it will go away soon or will it carry on - its bloody annoying!

Thanks all in advance!

Sorry Daniya, I'm now 21+2 and so far this issue has not abated, my nipples hurt and my breasts ache even when I am doing nothing. The cold always makes it worse and my husband also finds it hilarious!

Oh damn - thanks for your honesty but not for the answer!!! ;)

Mine do that too. DH thinks that it's brilliant and has become quite a letch! He's not so keen on the fact that he has to keep his hands off though as they're so sensitive...

I'm so relieved to see this post as I thought it was just me - I've had to resort to putting cotton wool in my bra to cover them up! Also, they've started to get really painful all of a sudden almost like someone was holding a lighter to them. It lasts a couple of minutes then goes away. Otherwise they just throb.

I'm relieved its not just me too!! I googled it at the weekend and the main thing that came up was on cats nipples!! Oh, and a lot of pictures of pre and post pregnancy nipples which was just scary!

Oh dear, this sounds familiar. My nipples tighten and feel REALLY sensitive, especially in the cold. This has happened since early pregnancy and still makes me wince at almost 28 weeks.
