C Section Date

I am currently 37+2 with my first I had an elective caesarean and found out our surgery date nearly 4 weeks prior to the surgery. However, this time round we are still waiting, I’m just curious to see if any other expecting parents have had to wait? It’s just as we are getting closer I can’t help but start to panic. Thank you in advance❤️

With my first I got it a week before- this was during COVID so things were all a bit delayed! Maybe call the antenatal clinic and ask? Good luck 🙂

Thank you! Just starting to get a bit stressed now as my first is 20 months old and in that time so much has changed! I was gonna wait till Wednesday as that will be 4 weeks on the dot from when I had my consultation and they sent the booking form.

With my now 4yr old she was already born and discharged when the hospital called to book me in 😂

At that point u only found out the week before the planned section date. This was central Scotland. It was a bit annoying but they told me that very early on that I'd only find out at some point the week before maybe as late as 7days before.

Thank you! I’m just so surprised at how different it is this time round to my last. I have a feeling I’m gonna have to chase this and I’ve seen a lot online about some women not getting the date until a few days prior even. I think I’m stressing more this time because it’s getting childcare for our 19 month old
