46 and eeek I'm pregnant!!

Hi everyone. I was in this group 3 months ago. I left when I had an MC in April. I was a mess and despite being considered high risk due to being 46 I didn't think it would actually happen. Anyway guys i'm back, despite not expecting to fall pregnant so soon, and I'm feeling positive. I got a positive test this afternoon!!! Very early days but my god I'm excited. I took any early test, 4 days early.

Thank you @thebigstrawberry I was just going to say that I'm early. I thought 4 but 5 days early when I did the test so I wasn't expecting to see anything despite feeling pregnant. I had pale pink spotting the previous day.

I haven't seen a GP yet as I only tested yesterday. I tested 5 days early which is why the line is so faint, I didn't expect to see anything at all at this point but been experiencing pregnancy symptoms so I knew I was.

Agreed on the former..having worked as a gp we don't 'confirm' anything anymore. Home tests are just as accurate as ours. If a patient tells us they're pregnant we give them the phone no to self refer to a midwife. Congrats if it is tho
