Am I overthinking?

Sorry if this is long. Want to get as much in as poss. So I have a daughter, 14 born at 35+1w by emcs due to going into labour but not progressing causing her distress and a son, 11, by elcs at 38w. Pregnancies were fairly easy. I am 34 now currently 28+4w and this hasn't been an easy Pregnancy.

I was admitted to labour ward last week with tightenings every 2 mins that started at 5.30am. I went in at 12pm thinking braxton hicks and trying everything to relieve them. (It has been awhile being pregnant).

Turned out I had a water infection. After 24hrs of IV antibiotics I was sent home with a week supply of oral ones. (Just finished them). Had a VE and cervix was high, felt like she was trying to find my heart up there, but quite soft. Fast forward to 2 days ago and I was having a wee in the morning and has a light pink discharge after wiping. I had a bath straight away and as I was having a clean down there as I do I noticed a bump and I did check and my cervix is very low, as in right near the opening. I am getting lower backache like a bugger but comes and goes and do get very regular braxton hicks. I don't feel like he will come soon but I also have been feeling very off and restless the past few days. I have the midwife next week but my brain won't switch off until then so wondering if anyone can help shed some light and maybe reassure me.

Sorry for the very long post. I just rather explain everything.
Thank you for reading.

If you're sure that's your cervix and it's right near your vaginal opening, I'd be going to the hospital. That's not right at all.

I think you should call your maternity triage line and talk it through with a midwife- it sounds like you may need an examination.

It isn't as in right there but really not hard to find. I am just concerned that in a week it can go from being pretty high to low when I am still far from my due date.

I would go to triage and ask to be examined for peace of mind. Last year I went into premature labour and it was so far from the due date it didn't occur to me that that was what happening.

Definitely go get checked if there isn't anything wrong amazing but if there is something that needs medical attention why wait ? X
