Due dates: LMP or NHS dating scan - which was more accurate for you?

Due date based off LMP and cycle length - 12th August

Due date based on 12/13 week nhs dating scan - 8th August

Just wondering which ended up being more accurate for you? I know there's not a huge difference, and due dates aren't particularly accurate, but curious whether baby is more likely to arrive sooner or later!

Thanks

Can't really comment as I'm having a c section on Friday but wanted to say my due date by LMP was 12th August and NHS scan was 9th August! So we're very close. Hope you're feeling okay xx

Not quite answering your question but I had IVF and due date based on embryo transfer date was 12/4, early scans (up to 10 weeks) agreed with this, however at my dating scan, the due date was brought forward to the 7th. Went into labour on the 12th and he arrived on the 13th.

DD1 - LMP was 13th April. NHS due date was 18th. Born on 20th.

DD2 - LMP was 30th November, NHS due date 26th November. Born 21st November.

Both spontaneous labour so NHS dates for me x

Oh wow that's so similar! I'm scheduled for a csection on 6th august and the pre op is on the 2nd! Just wondering if he'll arrive before then!

How are you feeling? Best of luck to you, not long now! X

DD1 - LMP 1st June, NHS scan 27th May. Went into labour and had her 1st June

DD1 - LMP 2nd September, NHS scan 30th August, induced and had her 28th August so that one was different due to the induction

I went into labour on my nhs due date with my first, but there was only a few days in it anyway. I'm having a section this time so I won't know

Ideally you want to go off date of ovulation. My NHS due date is ahead by four days, to a date that I know is utterly impossible, because I was tracking ovulation.

LMP - 2nd November
Dating scan - 23rd October

So quite a difference!

We've gone for 28th October as the due date which corresponds to my recorded ovulation date, when I first got a positive test and how I measured at scan at 8 weeks.
