Heart palpitations

Hi guys

I am just under 15 weeks pregnant. It's all been ok so far other than heart palpitations which have started yesterday.

My heart races up to 167 whilst walking up the stairs! Midwife said all fine and to keep an eye on it

Anyone else with heart palpitations?

Yes I've have them quite regularly! Currently 17 weeks 5 days. I think it's fairly normal x

I do think it's fairly normal in pregnancy, however it can also be a sign of anemia, so get your bloods checked x

Yes very normal the hearts under a much larger strain and even though the heart does increase its capacity it does take some time to catch up. It can be a sign you need more iron though so mention this to the midwife you next see them
