My last period was 7th-11th July. Usual cycle 21-24 days.
Had unprotected sex 15th July late at night.
Strong dark line positive pregnancy test on Sunday 21st July, plus a clear blue saying pregnant 1-2 weeks.
Took 2 more clear blue 23rd July night time and 24th morning, both pregnant 2-3 weeks. So it’s saying it thinks I’m 4-5 weeks pregnant?!
It should be impossible but here we are and it’s happening. Anyone had anything similar?
My brain has immediately gone to, more HCG must mean more than 1 baby!

Oh wow, that is a very vey dark line for 6DPO! Is there any chance you could have been pregnant already and your last period was an implantation bleed? Or was it a normal period?

Even if you ovulated on 15th, that would have been really early as it was only day 8 of your cycle. Plus, it would normally take a few days before implantation happens as it need to travel down to the womb that's why it's so unlikely to get even a faint BFP at 6DPO.

Guess you'll only know by having a scan to date your pregnancy and see how many are in there!

What a mystery! Let us know if it does turn out to be twins?

I took a test the day my previous period started and it was really heavy (as usual for me) so it seems super unlikely I was pregnant before. It’s such a mystery, nothing on the internet says it’s possible!
It feels like it’s going to be the longest wait for a scan so I do plan to pay for a private one as early as I can and I’ll definitely update when I do!!

Good luck with the scan, and definitely update this thread when you find out! Maybe you just have a really high HCG baseline level.

Hi @Ellsbells1996 I just noticed your thread as I’m in exactly the same position so I just wondered what your outcome was as currently driving myself crazy trying to work out why I have such a strong positive at 6dpo and clear blue digital saying I’m 2-3 weeks when I know I’m not! Hope everything worked out for you!…. would appreciate any advice 🙏🏼 Thank you

Hey, mine unfortunately was an ectopic pregnancy in my right tube, which I had to have removed. This explains the HCG so early as it implanted in my tube so didn’t take time to travel to the uterus. Hopefully all works out for you.
