Hi, this is my first time posting. I wanted to warn other expectant mums not to use Pregnacny Tens / this website to order their TENS machine: https://www.maternitytensmachine.co.uk

I ordered around 35 weeks and paid upfront. They promise to deliver just before 37 weeks, so you'll have the machine ready if you go into labour. I am now 38+3 and still no machine. I have emailed multiple times, called the hotline with no response, and asked them to call me back.

My first child came early and I've been warned by the midwives this baby might, too. It's been really unnerving knowing I might go into labour without pain relief, and I've been really shocked by the complete lack of response from the company.

I am hoping I'll get my money back and it's not just a scam. Has anyone else had this problem??? I feel quite upset about it.

I’ve used Birthease and as soon as I hit 36 weeks it was dispatched and arrived within 2 days and I have it already to use. Would recommend birthease.co.uk

Boots sell maternity TENS in store, you could get one just to certain you have it, and insist in a refund if the other one ever turns up (or especially if it doesn't!)

Thanks @Wigeon ! I’ve ordered another rental so I have a machine now. Still no word from PregnancyTens but I’ve asked for a full refund and if they don’t provide it I’ll raise a dispute with my bank. Hopefully it’s just a blip but it makes me feel really anxious the idea that this might be happening to first time mums. My Tens machine saved me in my first labour, I really wouldn’t want to be without it.

No need to get a pregnancy tens! 🙄
Boots have them and most places sell them.
