Baby dropping percentiles/ reduced movement should I worry?

My baby is due next week and I went to the maternity over the weekend for reduced movement.

I have never had great movements anyway, didn't with my first either. But I felt there had been no movements at all for too long.

I was kept overnight, traces were all good, bar 1 but I they said he had moved. Found him again.

They did a full scan and his stomach measurement has gone from the 89th percentile to the 42nd, measured at 36+6 weeks. I have GDM and I'm on a lot of insulin. But they said that is still within the normal range so nothing to worry about. They said the drop in growth rate could account for the drop in movement as well. I met with the endocrinologist and he kept my insulin as it is.

It's hard not to worry though even though I trust the doctors. Anyone had a drop in growth like that?

I have had a huge drop of growth but to below the 10th centile, I wouldn’t worry in your position, especially the fact you’re nearly at your due date. They may suggest inducing you slightly earlier as I know they tend to offer it with reduced movements

@Thefaceofboe thank you, I am already going in at 38 weeks due to being on a lot of insulin mainly

Hard not to worry about things. But soon he'll be out and I can worry about a whole new set of things 😂
