Do you have to declare you’re pregnant? Renting

When moving you get asked the general questions- ie. any pets? Do you smoke? Income? Ect.
one of the questions is if you have any children (dependants?)
I was wondering if you’re supposed to declare pregnancy even if it’s months before the baby is even due?

My general thoughts would be no you don’t!

interested to see what others think. Or maybe have experienced.

I wouldn’t either, and didn’t disclose it when I was pregnant with my first baby.

As long as the property is suitable for children...

Technically you have no dependants. I'm sure you can work out whether its affordable on maternity leave/with childcare.

I was almost 14 weeks pregnant when I moved into my current rental, they didn't ask & I didn't tell. That was almost 4 years ago and it has never been an issue.
