I am beginning to think about the baby's room and what needs to be done. The room's gonna need totally redecorating anyway, and looking into painting it ASAP. But has anyone else heard of 'organic' type paint that is 'baby safe'? (Can't think where I heard of it and think I may be going mad). If it exists, where do you get it from? Any suggestions....?

Just google "organic room paint" and endless options will appear. I think the most important thing is to make sure that the cot is painted with lead-free paint in case baby decides to use it as a teething tool! (most cots now are done with safe paints anyway)
The thing to watch for is if you buy a repainted second-hand cot or other furniture, then I would err on the side of caution.

Not sure about organic but loads of low VOC stuff available- Little Green Paint Company is my fave. Also Paint Library, William Morris Co, Farrow and Ball etc.
Not that I'm obsessive or anything...
