Progesterone and horrendous headaches?

Anyone else been taking progesterone and experiencing awful headaches, I have right sided headaches every single day since starting progesterone. 13 weeks pregnant today so only need them for another 3 weeks but wondering anyone else experienced this?

Just wondering if this calmed down for you eventually? I'm experiencing the same thing at the moment and it's awful!

I'm on HRT and when I took progesterone tablets as part of that, I had a headache every day that I took them (about 2 weeks of every month). I do think some people just don't tolerate it well, even though others say it makes them all calm and helps them sleep.

Unfortunately I think that’s all you can do! Will be so worth it in the end!! I went to the GP about it and apparently it’s the biggest side effect of progesterone xx

For people on HRT, you can swap to patches because sometimes progesterone absorbed through the skin is better tolerated than tablets.
For some women progesterone pessaries are better than oral tablets but not sure how suitable that would be for pregnant women.
Worth talking to the GP again if the headaches are bad.
