Does anyone know if you can use these in early pregnancy? I am almost 10 weeks and am suffering badly from constipation. It isn't something I am going to resolve easily with diet alone as I have terrible all-day sickness and can't keep much down.

Try lactulose - ask doctor first but that is what they prescribed me.

I used those as I was in a similar situation as you- in a lot of pain and very uncomfortable. They helped a bit, but the only thing that really sorted me out was prunes!

Am on 3rd pregnancy - 26W.
Thank God for my sister who is a chemist. she suggested 4mg glycerine supositories. I used them almost everyday. much less frequently now, maybe once a week. they are completely harmless. you can even use the 1mg version on infants.
i found link between my sickness and constipation. Also try soda water as it will calm the stomach and help digestion. Sorry Twinkie1 but just don't feel Lactulose will do the trick effectively..
best of luck...
