20 week scan

Hi everyone,

I have my repeat 20 week scan today and baby was hiding last week so we couldnt see her face or heart.
I have sugary sweets but what else can I do to get baby move please? I've tried fizzy drinks, cold water, jumping last week but she was too comfortable.
Please help this desperate mumma😂

I had the same issue - ice cold, full fat coke just before hand and starjumps seemed to work. Good luck!

After DD was stubborn (again...) at the repeat 20 week scan, I walked the length of the hospital, going up/down any flight of stairs I came across, a good breakfast with a full fat coke (your choice of caffeinated beverage may be different). Oh and a couple of pokes to the abdomen and a handful of jumping jacks for good measure.

Naughty DS ignored all efforts to get him to move at his repeat scan (plus it was late afternoon - so no chance of a breakfast) so had to go without. The sonographer (same one at both DS scans) wasn't the most pleasant person in the world, so I guess she wasn't inclined to try a third time like the one I had with DD.

Thank you! I have Tangfastics, chocolate and full fat coke at the ready! I work in the hospital where my scan is so maybe I will leave a little earlier so I can go for a walk to hopefully see if that gets her moving! thank you
