5 weeks pregnant

Hi. So last Saturday I found out I was 4 weeks pregnant on an easy at home test and a clear blue week indicator which said “1-2”. The next day I started spotting and then it continued to get heavier as the days went on and I experienced really heavy bleeding and mild cramps (kind of like a period but maybe heavier) I had clots too ect. However, I went to hospital as I was concerned with the amount of bleeding and they just said it’s so early so all they can say is it’s a suspected miscarriage. I’ve continued to take the clear blue week indicator and 8 days later it’s still saying 1-2 weeks? Plus, my easy at homes have just got darker. I’ve got no signs of eptopic which I was also checked over for in the hospital. Has anyone experienced this and still been pregnant? Very very confused.

I wanted to reply to say I’m experiencing something similar, in the hope it helps to not feel like you’re alone. I’m slightly earlier on in my story than your message. I’m 4 weeks 6 days, and showing stronger on the pregnancy tests for the last 2 days, but the bleeding has been pretty heavy for 5/6 days now including clots. I assume you can still show up positive for a couple of weeks after what could be a suspected misscarriage in this early stage. Going for blood tests on Monday so will have a better indication.
