Hi all,

Got my BFP yesterday although it's still very early just wondered what the best pregnancy tracking app is now please? I used Ovia when pregnant with my first 2 years ago but it's not available anymore. Thanks for any suggestions

Pregnancy + by Phillips avent it’s a brilliant app and you can customise your baby

I like Emmas Diary and Bounty app. 2nd baby so suits me fine.

I liked Pregnancy+ when pregnant with DD, and then used Baby+ after she was born. Pregnant again now and using Pregnancy+ again, and will use Baby+ again when they make their arrival!

Just be careful about how they use your data. If the app is free then you're the product they're selling to advertisers and knowing someone is pregnant is some of the most valuable intel out there because having a kid is one of the last times people's spending habits are really open to change.

Also be aware that even in the UK the police have asked for app data from pregnancy/period tracking apps to pursue women for illegal abortions, even in some cases where they miscarried.

I use Clue Premium, which I pay for, and Baby Buddy, which is supported by the NHS.

Privacy remains an issue with several women’s health apps

Inconsistent privacy policies and dodgy data collection in popular fertility and pregnancy tracking apps put women’s health information at risk.

Do you have any evidence for this claim?

You can still use Ovia, I'm using it for my current pregnancy

I just use this: https://www.nhs.uk/pregnancy/week-by-week/

Do not use Flo app. I was using it for ovulation then switched to the pregnancy tracking and then unfortunately had a miscarriage. I deleted the app. Months later I then got an email from Flo celebrating the fact I was near my due date-horrific. Have complained to then with no response

Such a good point.

Hey, I'm looking for one too and just come across Dearbump, has anyone else used this? Looks great and I even got to ask a midwife a question as there's a chat thing.

I use this too, or the start for life version:

https://www.nhs.uk/start-for-life/pregnancy/ you can sign up for weekly emails.

I've found it really useful as it is all the correct NHS advice in one place.
