Should morning sickness vary day by day?

I know I should be an expert by now as this is my third (fourth pregnancy) but with the first I didn't get any sickness, the second a vague feeling of sickness, and the third, as far as I remember, a fairly constant feeling of sickness until about 12 weeks. I am nearly six weeks at the moment and the last two days I have felt pretty bad, sicky all day but with that weird hungry-but-want-to-be-sick feeling around tea time. Today I have felt absolutely fine. Is this normal? Does it come in waves day by day?

that sounds normal - morning sickness often waxes and wans. It can depend on what you eat and how much rest you get as to how you feel.

I had a panic at 7 weeks as felt really well one day having felt sick for the previous week - should have just enjoyed it! Am now 14 weeks and only just starting to feel a bit better.

My sickness varies alot. I always feel sick but some days I'm actually vomiting - it's horrendous! I have what I call good days and bad days.

oh yes, it can vary. I have had moments of desperately wanting a cremw egg whilst also feeling sick to my stomach!
Usually ended with me eating the creme egg then being sick!

Some days fine, other days not able to hold a thing down, and a variety of in betweens.

Thanks everyone for your reassurance. I feel sick again today so I feel 'better' I guess! I should have made the most of feeling well yesterday and gone out and been all bouncy and happy! A creme egg right now sounds quite tempting...NOT!

How early has everyone experienced pregnancy symtomns following conception and what were they?

chocciedooby · 12/04/2008 15:29

sorry not supposed to have posted this here.please ignore.

My sickness is exactly as you describe and I'm 17 weeks now. Some days are also definitely better for me than other days, My diet is still limited- no hot meals just constant snacks on fruit, drinks, biscuits, cereal- bit fed up but it's all I can manage.
