I haven’t had this experience although I did have a miscarriage. With my miscarriage, the first I knew of it was when I wiped and there was lots of bright red blood, like a period. In hindsight, I also realised that all my pregnancy symptoms had disappeared too (sickness gone, sore boobs, tiredness etc)… I was 5 weeks so it was too early for these symptoms to disappear without reason.

I think it is possible to get spotting like you have and everything be absolutely fine! I’d be concerned if the bleeding became more heavy and pronounced. Have you spoken to a midwife? Xxx

Hi @Marshey, I would give your midwife/gp a call if you’re concerned. As PP said, bleeding can be normal but if you’re worried I would get it checked out, they may refer you to the EPU for a scan x

Morning. In my first pregnancy I had a bleed at 9 weeks - it felt like a lot at the time and was bright red. I had an early scan and was terrified but it was all absolutely fine and nothing to worry about. I believe that’s often the case so try not to worry and just keep an eye on it. Maybe call your midwife for some advice.

I also had a bleed at 9 weeks and was terrified but had a week rest, and all was ok. The doctor thought it was implantation / development of placental connection.

I've had spotting in this pregnancy, all fine, there was a tiny bleed round the foetus at 6 weeks but it had totally gone by 12 weeks. But also when I had a MC it started with spotting. You could contact midwife or GP to get referred to your local early pregnancy unit.
