Did anyone have a stressful pregnancy but then still went on to have a happy baby?

Both my pregnancies were stressful but both my babies were quite chilled in temperament

Yep! Had an awful pregnancy and very traumatic labour. My baby is very happy and chilled x

Me! I had a horrendously stressful pregnancy due to a previous stillbirth and issues in the subsequent pregnancy.

My now 16 year old was the easiest, most good natured baby (although a pita as a toddler!) and is now a really nice lad.

Yes I had a very stressful pregnancy & had the most chilled content baby, he's 18 now and still has that beautiful nature

Yes, I lost my stepfather and an Uncle when I was pregnant with my son, and he was a happy chilled baby.

Both my pregnancies were very stressful and completely exhausting but both my babies were born healthy and happy. They have been the most chilled, content little souls.

Yes, I was so stressed and anxious through my whole pregnancy I was terrified she'd pick up on it! But she's a lovely happy little baby

Super stressful twin pregnancy (potential abnormalities, possible termination, multiple invasive procedures) that produced two ridiculously happy, chilled babies.

If you’re a first time mum, don’t underestimate the power of post-birth hormones. You go crazy for a bit but then you start the mumming bit and you don’t really remember what happened when you were pregnant. I remember talking about my pregnancy years later and being surprised at people’s reaction as, to me, it was a bit of a sh*t time that I looked back on as “Oh yeah…”.
