I'm having pain mostly on right hand side. Bad enough to take pain killer but not so much so I'm crying out! It feels similar to the pain you might get if you were holding in a poorly poo! But I'm not. Should I worry?

I used to and still at 39 weeks pain that felt like this that was just ligament pain, especially when rolling over or in a funny position. To me it felt like a stitch?

@Flopsy145 not ligament pain I don't think. It's constant and not effected by movement.

Probably fine, but defo get it checked out. My 3rd pregnancy I had this kind of thing. Phone the helpline number you've been given and they'll ask the right questions to tell if muscular etc. Any doubt and pop to the unit for monitoring. I wouldn't go too much on what people say here. They tend to have opinions/ anecdotal evidence. I ended up having 12 scans on my 3rd due to pain/ bleeding/ placenta issues, she is a perfectly healthy child but she was a pickle (just the usual 2 each on babies 1 and 2). They were so nice to me every time.

@Oversharingsonewusernamehaha would you call the maternity assessment unit?
