High leukocytes urine dip test but no UTI MC

I miscarried at 6 weeks last week and the week before I was put on antibiotics because my urine had ++ leukocytes (white blood cells) but when sent off for analysis no infection was found in my urine.
Is this normal in pregnancy or could it be that my body rejected the pregnancy? I’m over thinking everything now.

Leukocytes are an indicator of infection but don't always definitively mean infection. They are also found in the likes of skin cells and vaginal discharge. So if your urine was contaminated they could show that. Equally could have been a urine infection but maybe you hadn't developed enough of a bacteria count for the report to show it yet. As in it was early days of a UTI maybe.
The Leukocytes wouldn't have been to do with rejecting a pregnancy.
I know having a pregnancy loss makes you overthink and research absolutely everything and it's all part of the grieving process I think, but I do hope you are able to take some time to just process. Again I'm so sorry for your loss.

Thank you! I am now 21 weeks pregnant as I got pregnant again 10 days after my miscarriage which I was not expecting! But it shows it can happen so good luck with everything
