having a bit of a panic and need advice.

I miscarried with a chemical pregnancy on 26/05. I have fallen pregnant again this month, I’m worried that my pregnancy tests are strong enough. I was really sick with my first but haven’t had nausea or sickness yet. I’m not sure how to calculate the gestational age as I was miscarrying for over a week.

just super anxious something will happen again.

I have a happy and healthy 2 year old and very normal pregnancy for him

Unfortunately tests don't always indicate progress. I had strong tests past when I had a MC (but was later, at 11 weeks). It's so tough but you'll have to wait and see, remember there's nothing you can do or not do. I only had nausea etc from about week 6 of my current pregnancy.

Thank you for the advice. I’m finding it hard not to get myself over panicked. I’ll book an early scan to check its progression.

good luck with your pregnancy

I'd really advise if you get an early scan, wait til you're at least 7 weeks, preferably 8. You will get a definitive yes/no on the heartbeat by then, even if you're dating earlier than you think. And will see a lot more on the screen.

Try to keep calm, OP (I know easier said than done!)

My first pregnancy (miscarriage, unfortunately) I was very sensitive to everything before I'd even found out I was pregnant eg. I came home from work and DP was starting to cook dinner and I could smell the RAW mince from the front door (kitchen is at the back of the house). But second pregnant (went to term) I didn't have anything at all until I got to about 7/8 weeks.

Each pregnancy is different and fingers crossed this one is just different to your last. I have everything crossed for you ❤️

Thank you all for your feedback.

I’ve booked an early scan and will try to keep level head x
